Caleb Blackstone is the heir to his family’s empire. He is also the perfect combination of sexy and sweet. He is confident and knows what he wants! He can be cocky but only when the opportunity calls.
Brooke Casterley is smart, beautiful and talented. Having escaped her nightmare of a past, she returns to Blackstone Island in order to care for her ailing Nan. Brooke is a struggling interior designer who has to take on a second job, waitressing, to help pay bills.
Caleb and Brooke meet accidently. Fate brought these two together. They crossed paths twice in one day. Caleb is instantly attracted to Brooke and believes she is the woman for him.
They have to battle together to fight against past fears, vengeful exes and secrets that are trying to keep them apart. In the end, love prevails and this couple does find their happily ever after.
I am excited to see what Raine Miller has in store for the next book in this series!
