My Review of This is Me, Baby by K. Webster!

This is Me, Baby (War & Peace, #5)This is Me, Baby by K. Webster
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is Me, Baby picks right up after the what in the heck just happened ending of This Isn't You, Baby. Hang on tight, and enjoy the ride of this whirl wind of dark romantic angst that will have you hanging onto your seat!

Poor Brie has just witnessed the horrific act of her beloved Duvan being murdered right before her eyes. Her Daddy, Gabe, was there to save her from the evil Heath just in time! But not enough time to save her husband.

Brie is angry, lonely and confused on what to do next in her life. Her emotions are high and she doesn't know who to trust anymore. She knows that Ren will always be there for her no matter what. Brie depends on Ren in the beginning to help her overcome her grief. He is the light in her darkness.

Ren wants Brie back and will do anything to achieve his goal. If she needs him to be a punching bag, listening ear or just there for her, he will do it! He is no longer the awkward boy who was trying to win over her heart when they first met. Ren has grown into a hard nosed man, who is willing to sacrifice tooth and nail to fight for the ones he loves! He can offer Brie the protection she needs to help fight off the evil people of the world.

The author did a great job of throwing in some humorous scenes that involed Gabe, Hannah, War and Bailee. It's funny how the dynamics of their strange little family works. We were also introduced to some new players in this game of War and Peace. You just never know who to trust or who you may fall in love with!

I love this series and I can't wait for the next book! Each book in this series has been excellent and keeps you wanting more!
