I am going to admit that I was very nervous to read this book. Come on, it's about James Mayson, the original BOOM!!! We all know that Asher, Trevor, Cash and Nico were super bossy alpha males who knew once they met their boom, that there was no turning back. They may have tried to fight it but we all know in the end, they gave in and lived happily ever after!! So yes, I was nervous and worried that James wouldn't meet my expectations. But boy did he!!! James Mayson was everything I dreamed about and more. He is bossy, sexy as hell and has a big old heart of gold!

James Mayson knows instantly that Susan Montgomery is the woman for him. He feels sparks as soon as their hands touch! James has heard about the Boom from his father, so he has been waiting a long time for his "woman".

Susan Montgomery doesn't know what hits her when she meets James Mayson. He literally knocks the breath out of her. Susan is funny, independent and just plain loveable! It was enjoyable reading about how she tried to deny her feelings for James! But in the end, there was no denying the love they would share!

C.P. Smith did an excellent job writing this story. It's full of hot sex scenes (they practically sizzle off the page), giggles (Oh Susan), lots of suspense that keeps you guessing and it will just make you love how the Mayson family began. You will learn where those Mayson boys got their bossy attitudes from. And why they take charge once they find their girl!

I loved this book and will re-read it again and again in the future!! I hope you all take chances on these Happy Ever Alpha books and enjoy each and every one. I just downloaded Until Nox today and can't wait to find out more about him!
