My Review of Rooke by Callie Hart

RookeRooke by Callie Hart
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Sasha's life was turned upside down 5 years ago when her car went tumbling off the Brooklyn Bridge. Her 6 year old son, Christopher, drowned and her life was forever changed. This incident in her life has caused nothing but a downward spiral into depression. She was once a happily married mother of one, but now finds herself divorced and alone. Her book club with friends is one of the bright spots in her dull life.

Rooke Blackheath is a car thief, who has a knack of fixing watches. He oozes bad boy. He is sexy, confident and goes after what he wants.

Sasha stumbles upon Rooke in a dark hallway. The chemistry is there when they first met and hard to deny.

Rooke sees Sasha as a challenge that he wants to conquer! He is younger and wise beyond his years. Sasha plays hard to get and pushes him away when he gets too close.

The sparks will fly and sizzle once these two come together.

All in all, this was an enjoyable read and different from what I have read from Callie Hart before! She never disappoints and I look forward to what she has to offer next!
