My Review of Filthy English by Ilsa Madden-Mills

I was given an ARC of this book for an honest review. This was my first book by this author and it won't be my last. This was a second chance romance, which gives you hope that they two star crossed lovers will find their way back to each other again.

Demi is in London with her friend celebrating her "honeymoon". The girls are out on a night on the town hoping to find someone to fill a need to help Demi forget her ex fiancé who jilted her. She spots someone and immediately believes she doesn't stand a chance! Things happen and she literally falls into the lap of British hunk Dax Blay.

Dax Blay is visiting his cousin in London for the summer. Sexy, tattooed, and muscled Dax knows who Demi is from the start but pretends he doesn't know who she is. They share a past that left them both hurt and not knowing they were each hoping things could be different. Dax comes to Demi's rescue and they try to rekindle a friendship but knowing they both want more.

Demi and Dax both carry a lot of baggage and things from the past aren't explained. They do their best to just stay friends but the simmering hot passion is there and they can't deny it! But fate has a way of changing things just when you think they are headed in the right direction. Misunderstandings and more cause the lovers to fall apart again.

I don't want to give to much away! You need to read for yourself to see if these two crazy college kids find their way back to each other! Will Dax forget about Demi? Will Demi move on or find love again in her ex fiancé's arms?

This is the second book in the series but can be read as a complete standalone. The characters are well written, the chemistry if off the charts and you will fell all kinds of emotions (hurt, happiness and hope).
